The older I get, the more apparent it becomes that there is no "arrival". We are forever in flux, in growth or change. The older I get, the less this understanding frustrates me, because unlike flowers we do not bloom once and pass on. We continually learn, change, struggle, triumph, speed up, slow down and there is something significantly beautiful about that.
This design comes with the understanding that while there is no arrival or individual's state of perfection, our current self is worth celebrating. We are consistently students of ourselves; learning to love and appreciate our being, the tangible and intangible pieces that make us who we are. Like fresh flower buds with velvety petals gripped and holding tight, slowly unfurling, patiently opening to reveal the slightest sliver of a vibrant center.
A complex beauty in constant motion or mid-bloom.
About the tees:
These tees are 100% upcycled/second-hand, 100% cotton, 100% naturally dyed. They take several days to make as they are dyed in slow tea baths to produce one of kind molted color and embroidered with a complimentary tawny thread. All tees are unisex sizes and fits may vary slightly as there is a bit of brand variation between sizes. For this reason, batches will be slower to produce but I believe in the significance and sustainability of this process. I hope you love the design and the hard work that goes into making them.
